Our system of hiring talent is broken. Not only is it challenging to find and hire the right people, it’s also messy when it comes to getting rid of the wrong ones.

Finding and recruiting the people you want should be much easier and faster, and it should cost next-to-nothing. This is exactly what we are building with HYRD; an AI-driven tool that matches candidates to the jobs they are best suited for, and employers with people who can make a difference in their companies.

At its core, HYRD works by analysing your CV and generating hundreds of “typical job vacancies” for which your CV would be a great match. It then converts these vacancies into a searchable database through which anyone can sift through and find people that are best-matched for any job. Not only will this save employers time and money, it will also enable job-seekers to send in their CVs and let AI work to find them a great job!

So on the sustainability of HYRD, the question becomes, “what’s the incentive for job-seekers to send us their CVs?. — vitally important to keep the system running” Sure, they might find a job maybe, but an immediate reward is often a far stronger motivator than delayed gratification. So our solution to this was introduced two weeks ago called CV Genie, which provides FREE instant feedback (in less than 20 seconds in most cases) to users on how their CV can be improved and made more effective for potential employers, using actual examples taken from the user’s own CV. This enables users to take CV Genie’s advice and go fix the CV (or pay us to do it for them), or forget about it and still let HYRD work to find you great work without you lifting another finger.

I believe HYRD has the potential to become the most efficient and effective hiring tool for both employers and employees — capturing both ends of the market. While we work on building a robust back-end for HYRD (which is approx 2–3 months away from completion), We are also looking to partner with someone in developing a kick-ass UI and front-end for it. Get in touch if you share this vision.
